Ann Miletti has built a 30-year plus year investment career and is head of Active Equity at Allspring Global Investments. She oversees all of the firm’s active equity teams. Her responsibilities include management of investment professionals, trading activity, and other business-related issues.
Prior to her current role, Ann was in the same role at Wells Fargo Asset management. Before that she led the Wells Fargo Asset Management’s PMV (Private Market Value) Equity team and managed more than $4 billion in assets. Ann began her investment industry career in 1991 at Strong Capital Management, which Wells Fargo acquired in 2005.
Ann’s entry into the investment industry wasn’t typical. She began her career as a teacher, but her time in the classroom was cut short when she had her first child, and her son had a severe heart defect. Ann stayed home to care for her baby during the day, while her husband worked, and then at night she answered phones in Strong’s call center. In between calls, Ann studied for her financial license exams. She soon was promoted to assistant to a portfolio manager, a job that she did so well she had time, energy and skills to do more. Way more. Things like running reports and noticing trends that she’d report to the portfolio manager. She rose to assistant portfolio manager and then portfolio manager.
To this day, Ann credits her successful investment career to her outsider’s perspective and educator’s curiosity. She wouldn’t do anything differently.
Throughout her career, Ann has covered most industry sectors as an equity research analyst and portfolio manager. Ann is a frequent guest on a number of financial networks, including CNBC, Bloomberg TV, and Fox Business News. She has also been quoted extensively as a markets and investments expert by a wide range of multi-media outlets, including The Associated Press, Barron’s, Bloomberg News, The Wall Street Journal, and more. She twice participated in USA Today’s annual Investment Roundtable.

In 1987, John O’Leary was a curious nine-year-old boy. Playing with fire and gasoline, John created a massive explosion in his home and was burned on 100% of his body. He was given less than a 1% chance to live.
This epic story of survival (first showcased in 2008 with his parents’ acclaimed book Overwhelming Odds) has never felt more relevant than as we live through the COVID-19 pandemic together.
Today, John is the author of the #1 National Bestselling books ON FIRE and IN AWE. The latter released in May 2020 with many saying it is the message we all need right now. John is the host of the top-rated Live Inspired Podcast and a live and virtual event speaker teaching more than 50,000 people around the world each year how to live inspired.
Consistently described as “the best speaker we’ve ever had” John’s emotional story-telling, unexpected humor and authenticity make each presentation unforgettable.
John’s genuine, collaborative approach to partnering allowed him to understand early that clients’ biggest pain point in the wake of the fallout from the pandemic is team “burnout.” To address this, John expanded his Live Inspired Coaching program to bring his keynote from inspirational to transformational. Early successes in the program have clients saying their teams are more focused, collaborative and engaged than ever.
John considers his greatest success to be his marriage to his wife Beth, their four children and his relationships with friends and family.

Funds raised from BizThreeSixty are transferred directly to the BizTank Scholarship Fund. This scholarship fund serves local high school students looking to further their education in any way, not just those attending four-year universities. To us, furthering your education can mean joining the military, attending beauty school, learning trades, or attending a two or four-year university.
BizTank is the brainchild of Jeff Peterson, Owner and CEO of Geneva Supply & Interstate Music. It’s an idea that an individual can take the passion from their career, and use it to enlighten the minds of the communities’ youth, specifically Junior and Senior high school students.
BizTank is for the dreamers, the planners, the “know-it-alls” and the “I’m-not-quite-sure-I-know-what-I’m-doing-with-my-life” kids. All of them truly have something to learn, and something to gain from Biz360.
Any kid that’s willing to take a chance at creating a future they can be proud of is welcome.
